NYC Transit/MTA Bus Weather Service Advisory

NYC Transit will run close to normal subway and bus service on Saturday. MTA Bus will also run as close to normal service as possible.

Planned work on the subway system is cancelled this weekend due to weather conditions, except for the following station rehabilitation work:

- The Whitlock Av and Morrison –Soundview Av stations

- The Far Rockaway-bound stations at Beach 36 and Beach 60 Sts

- The Manhattan-bound stations Avenue U and Neck Rd

- The Coney Island-bound station at Avenues H and M

Canceling all other planned service changes that were scheduled for this weekend will ensure that we’ll be able to provide a normal complement of rush-hour service Monday morning. Subway service will run on a normal weekend schedule.

Due to wet sidewalk and street conditions stairs, platforms and escalator steps may be slippery. Crews will be out clearing any remaining snow conditions on platforms and stairways. We would like to remind customers that for their safety they should walk, not run on subway stairs, escalators and platforms. Please exercise caution.

Buses

Customers should be careful on bus steps both boarding and alighting. Please exercise extreme caution at bus stops.
